Room 1 is our ground floor room which is highly suitable for the less active amongst us. There are no steps into this room from the car park or to the breakfast room. All electric sockets are at waist height.
Room 4 - this room has a double bed against a wall, however it sleeps 2 adults comfortably. It also has FREESAT satellite TV with over 140 channels.
Come down and see Weymouth building up to the Olympics. For those of you that don't know, all the sailing and windsurfing events will be held here in 2012! Note that we are close to the events and have FREE on-site parking.
Weymouth is great for walking, cycling and bird watching (2 RSPB reserves nearby) and the now famous RODWELL TRAIL as featured on BBC's Railway Walks.
Gorgeous scenery, pretty harbour, lovely award winning beach plus a variety of restaurants/cafes and plenty of shopping all within walking distance of Lacey's Guest House.
We have free on-site parking so that you can enjoy the full flavour of Weymouth without using your car. As you may be aware, Weymouth is part of the Jurassic Coast with outstanding scenery.
Our Guest House is within easy reach of all attractions along this coast. Within a few minutes walk we have the Rodwell Trail (the old Weymouth - Portland railway featured on BBC's Railway walks) which enables walkers and cyclists (which we welcome) to reach Portland Harbour traffic free. Great for the 2012 Olympics.
We are also within 30 minutes drive of the world famous "Monkey World"
Your host, Nigel, has known the area for over 30 years and is therefore able to give you valuable information and knowledge about Weymouth and surrounding areas.
All rooms are very well equipped (4 are en-suite) plus there is a fridge available for guest use, which also contains fresh milk (we don't like the little UHT pots either!!). All rooms have access to FREE WiFi Internet.
We also will do our best to cater for special dietary requirements.
